October 15, 2004—The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute has awarded GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification to the Boulevard and Evolve office furniture systems of Global Contract, part of the Global Group.
The furniture successfully completed GREENGUARD’s stringent testing and certification program for low-emitting interior products. Global Contract customers can specify Boulevard and Evolve systems with confidence that they will not negatively impact the indoor environment. The furniture systems will be retested regularly to ensure continued compliance with the GREENGUARD Standards for Low Emitting Products.
GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified furniture and furnishings enable architects and designers to achieve points for the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI) Program. GREENGUARD Certified office furniture is referenced under Credit 4.5 in the Indoor Environmental Quality section.
Furthermore, GREENGUARD Certified Product significantly help in achieving indoor air quality baseline testing requirements.

A printable certificate is provided for each GREENGUARD Certified Product for easy project submissions and verification of low-emissions. The printable certificates are also approved documentation for LEED projects.
