August 31, 2001—Asia Airfreight Terminal Co. Ltd. (AAT) has commissioned Hsin Chong Johnson Controls IFM Limited (HCJCIFM) to provide integrated facilities management services for its air cargo terminal located at the Chek Lap Kok International Airport. The AAT facility covers an area of over 43,000 square meters and includes over 20,000 square meters of warehouse processing space, a state-of-the-art automated storage and retrieval system, and pallet container handling system.
HCJCIFM is providing integrated facilities management services, including management and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and other building services, plus security, cleaning, helpdesk services, and tenancy management. The contract, effective as of July 1st 200l, is for a period of 3 years, with an option to renew for another 2 years.
