innowave Chiller treats drinking water at point of use; FreshCUP sanitizes in 30 seconds

October 12, 2001—The innowave Chiller is designed to reduce lead, cysts, chlorine, and turbidity in drinking water by using a sediment filter combined with a one-micron carbon block filter to treat drinking water at point-of-use. The one-micron filter has been tested by Spectrum Laboratories to ANSI/NSF Standard 53: Health Effects, for the reduction of at least 90% of lead and 99.99% of turbidity and cysts, such as giardia and cryptosporidium.

FreshCUP, new to the firm’s product line, is a unique microwasher that cleans and sanitizes cups, mugs, glasses, and silverware in just 30 seconds. The microwasher, about the size of a small microwave oven, uses patented Biocleanser cartridges, effective in cleaning and sanitizing up to 700 cups. Testing at University of Arizona confirmed the innowave FreshCUP system’s ability to disinfect cups, killing even problematic microorganisms such as coliform bacteria, E. coli, salmonella, giardia, and cryptosporidium.
