August 29, 2001—VIDAR Systems Corporation, a manufacturer of wide-format scanning solutions, and MacDermid ColorSpan, Inc., a leader in wide-format digital color printing, have announced VIDAR CopySystems support for ColorSpan’s line of DisplayMaker wide-format digital color printers.
CopySystems solutions are hardware-software bundles used for copying documents up to 54-inch (137.2 cm), including full-color photographs or posters, and monochrome or redlined blueprints for the GIS, reprographic, engineering, and graphic arts markets.
Anders Johnsson, European Regional Sales Manager for VIDAR Systems Corporation, says, “The addition of drivers for the DisplayMaker line of printers adds value to the complete scan-to-print solution as they are one of the fastest and most versatile wide-format color printers on the market.”
Support is currently available for ColorSpan’s DisplayMaker Series XII and DisplayMaker Esprit printers. Support for ColorSpan’s new twelve-head, high-speed printer—the DisplayMaker Mach 12—will be available at a later date.
