January 31, 2003—Armada Hoffler Holding Co., a full-service commercial real estate and construction organization, has decided to utilize Prolog Manager—produced by Meridian Project Systems (MPS)—to complete its $400 million Town Center of Virginia Beach project. Prolog Manager allows project teams to manage documents and data, creating one central database for all project information.
The Armada Hoffler project team uses Prolog’s document control features to centralize budget and cost data, track requests for information, and manage potential change events and applications for payment and invoicing. The software allows the company to coordinate fifty-five companies and public stakeholders in building a seventeen block, mixed-use development providing retail, office, hotel, residential, and recreational spaces. It also enables Armada Hoffler to view the financial status of the project at any time to maintain maximum profitability.
