NeoCon’04: Vitra’s MedaSlim wins Gold for elegantly slim stacking chair with and without armrests

June 28, 2004—MedaSlim designed by Alberto Meda for Vitra portrays elegant profile with an ergonomically shaped backrest. The breathable netweave and the cushioned sheet shell provide comfortable and relaxed seating even over extended periods. The tackable visitor and conference chair has a four-legged base complying with EN1335 and comes with or without armrests; soft polyurethane pad is in basic dark. The back frame, front legs, and seat are molded in a single piece of fibreglass-reinforced polyamide. Back legs are pressure cast aluminum, polished or powder-coated in basic dark. Seat cushion is made of polyurethane and fabric covered Backrest’s netweave is stretched over the frame. The award-winning stacking chair comes with glides for hard or soft floors. There are two other chairs in the series of three, Meda Chair, a task chair, and MedaPro, for professionals.
