Richard Hourigan, Inc., has introduced a Legionella Advanced Warning System that automatically detects airborne Legionella in facilities.
“The air at or directly above a potential Legionella pneumophila source can be sampled to collect filter, and, if found, culture Legionella pneumophila to determine a positive Legionella presence. That positive presence can trigger an alarm to notify of the danger or it can immediately and automatically begin remediation efforts. With this system at a facility, never again will its occupants be caught by surprise,” according to the company.
Use the Legionella Advanced Warning System with:
- Cooling Towers, and Evaporative Condensers;
- Spas, Hot Tubs, and Pools;
- Shower Rooms;
- Decorative Fountains;
- Commercial Air Handling or Humidification Units;
- Grocery Store Vegetable Sprayers;
- Outdoor Water Mist Systems; or
- Any other place where water is sprayed or misted.
