May 7, 2007—NextAlarm is adding an affordable video monitoring service called NEXTVIEW to its VolP-based alarm monitoring services for businesses and homes.
NEXTVIEW works with existing alarm systems and is easy to set up, view, and manage through the customer portal interface at NextAlarm.com. Each camera can be associated with one or more zones, such as entry, delivery door.
NextAlarm will offer NEXTVIEW free to paid NextAlarm subscribers through July 1, 2007. Ultimately, there will be a nominal fee for the use of video services based upon storage requirements, the number of cameras the customer has installed, and how long they want to archive video.
