October 31, 2005—Parker West International, LLC, has introduces a driving pressure washing and wastewater recycling system and services for pressure washing parking garages, parking lots and large outdoor hard surfaces. The system clean in an affordable, environmentally compliant manner, and prevents the contaminated washwater from entering the storm drains, notes the company.
The system, according to Parker West, enables the operator to clean four times faster than a pressure washer who is walking and discharging to the storm drains. It also signficantly reduces worker fatigue and labor costs.
The system, about the size of a riding lawnmower, automatically collects the washwater into the Parker West patented Mobile Wastewater Treatment System. Oil, grease, metals and paints are removed in one step, within minutes, says Parker West. Clean water is discharged, legally, to the on site sewer, eliminating the cost for manifesting and off site haul and disposal. The solid contaminants removed from the wastewater become immediately and permenantly fixated, rendering a non leachable, non hazardous Class II solid waste.
