September 12, 2005—Roos International, specializing in glass textile wall coverings, has recently expanded its products offerings.
The company has introduced Ultratap Block Liner BL650, which can smooth a rough wall for a finished painted wall surface, or smooth a rough wall as a wall liner under a decorative wall covering or digital printed mural. BL650, a quick alternative to skim coating, is installed like a regular liner or wall covering, the company says.
Roos has also launched Sempatech Paintable Acoustical Wall Covering, a glass textile wall covering that is also acoustical. Sempatech, says Roos, combines glass textile wall covering with a foam backing to provide a paintable acoustical wall covering with a NRC rating of .20, comparable to wall carpet. This product is useful for media rooms, conference rooms, hotel rooms, school classrooms, libraries and any room that requires sound absorption.
