Sepialine Corp. recently unveiled version 4.0 of its popular print tracking platform, Argos for Windows. The platform is available to help design professionals, print fulfillment, and FM providers to recoup media and output expenses. The new version touts flexibility, (both in terms of workflow and cost-of-ownership), accuracy, dependability, virtual transparency in each office’s operation, user friendliness, full integration with existing software packages, simple application roll-outs, and synchronized internet enabled data transfers between remote offices. It is also better designed to address the needs of end users, system administrators, accountants, bookkeepers, and FM providers alike.
Argos tracks expenses at the OS level, not by application as other tracking packages do. This application independence eliminates the need to upgrade with every software revision and assures unprecedented accuracy. The program uses an icon in the system tray to notify users when a print job is ready to be billed. To ensure that users address the unbilled print jobs in a timely manner, system administrators can limit the number of print jobs users can complete before they must assign billing information.
