April 17, 2002—Spacesaver Corporation, a provider of high-density storage, has entered a strategic alliance with Infolinx System Solutions, a records and information management software provider, and Colorflex, the filing soft goods division of EDP.
The partnership enhances Spacesaver’s ability to integrate space-efficient mobile storage units, sophisticated software tracking capabilities and filing technologies such as bar and color coding.
“The partnership will especially benefit companies with facilities in multiple locations that need a consistent method of tracking and managing records and other stored items,” says Kevin Carmody, Spacesaver’s vice president of sales.
The customizable Infolinx commercial software package incorporates multilevel tracking and fully integrated bar code technology, allowing the user to track the physical location of a stored item over its entire life cycle. Colorflex offers on-demand and factory label printing, software for color and bar coding – plus label stock, folders and other consumables. Together, these products expedite filing and retrieval, reduce lost files and misfiling, control access and facilitate retention schedules.
