October 7, 2005—Wausau Paper has introduced the OptiServ brand hands-free roll towel dispensing system in its Bay West line of “away-from-home” products.
The patented OptiServ system features a quiet, touch-free dispensing mechanism that cuts a pre-measured 11-inch towel with each pull, lowering costs for customers by reducing product waste and maintenance time, says the company.
The dispenser, available in five translucent colors, features a contemporary design as well as a side-hinged door that provides ease when servicing and loading roll towels in the dispenser. It complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards for Accessible Design and, with no levers or buttons to push, supports the food safety principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) because users touch only the paper when dispensing a towel.
