August 8, 2003—Waveset Technologies Inc., a provider of identity management solutions and BEA Global Partner, has teamed with BEA Systems to integrate its Waveset Lighthouse identity management solution with BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1—BEA’s platform that provides business integration through the convergence of application development and integration. The integration between Lighthouse and BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1 will help give organizations cross-enterprise visibility into user identity information and access privileges, enabling them to better enforce corporate security policies and compliance procedures across Web-enabled environments.
BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1 provides a single environment for the development of Web-based applications and portals. Waveset Lighthouse provides an automated, rule-based solution for centrally managing user permissions, passwords, and profile data across diverse systems and applications.
