“Wilcox Development, RMW Architecture Plan 420,000 sq. ft. Headquarters for Sybase”

Sybase, Inc., a leader in e-business software solutions, recently announced its intent to relocate its corporate headquarters from Emeryville, CA to the city of Dublin, CA — located approximately 40 miles East of San Francisco. The construction of the new facility is planned to begin in July 2000 with the move scheduled to take place in the summer of 2001.

The new 420,000 square foot campus will consist of two six-story buildings bordering Interstate 580 at the Hacienda Drive exit. John Chen, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Sybase, said, “Dublin is quickly emerging as a leading high technology hub and Sybase is excited to be an anchor organization there. The plans for the new buildings are first-rate and will be a showcase campus for the entire East Bay.”

Sybase is working closely with the city of Dublin, Wilcox Development Services, Inc., of Dallas, TX and RMW Architecture and Interiors in San Francisco on the plans. Wilcox Development Services owns the new Sybase headquarters.
