WorkSafe selects Generation21 Learning Systems to deliver OSHA compliance solutions

February 16, 2004—Generation21 Learning Systems, a developer of enterprise learning software, has been selected by WorkSafe, an OSHA compliance solution company.

WorkSafe selected Generation21 Enterprise to provide an integrated learning system to support an online OSHA compliance-training curriculum for its clients with many remote locations. WorkSafe will initially roll out the solution to one of its larger clients, a provider of wireless phone service, with plans to open it up to its entire client base. Eventually, WorkSafe plans to offer access to its training to the general public via its Web site.

“We did a general review of about 30 LMS/LCMS systems by reading online data and reviews and were able to focus in on around 15 that were of real interest to us. After the lengthy review process, we were left with one company that stood out above the rest and with a unanimous decision we elected to work with Generation21 as our partner in online training,” said Steven Burkey, online training director for Worksafe.

Generation21 will host the software and content will be delivered to Worksafe’s clients worldwide.

Generation21 pioneered the use of Universal Knowledge Objects—”nuggets” of right-sized information—and continues to enhance enterprise learning with innovations including performance support with context-based retrieval of knowledge outside of the classroom and on-the-job. Generation21 allows organizations to capture and share knowledge to generate measurable results in improved efficiency and productivity by allowing a company’s knowledge base to be easily accessed by employees in diverse locations, thus allowing learning to be constant.
