Workspeed security platform allows tracking of visitors and deliveries

October 19, 2001—Workspeed Inc. has announced the release of Workspeed Security Desk, a new module of its Workspeed Building platform. Workspeed Building harnesses the power of the Internet and wireless technologies to allow individuals from different organizations—real estate owners, property managers, building engineers, tenants, and vendors—to work together in real-time while requesting and delivering building services.

The new module enables office tenants and contractors to collaborate with building management and security personnel to authorize visitors and deliveries to their premises through a secure online visitor database. Security Desk allows building management to search for guests by multiple parameters and determine which guests are in a building at any given time. It can be used alone or as part of Workspeed Building.

NOTE: Due to the current demand for increased building security, Workspeed is waiving Security Desk’s customary licensing fees for three months to office building owners in its major markets, including New York, Washington, DC, Boston, Dallas, and San Francisco. The offer applies to both new and existing customers who register for Workspeed Security Desk before the end of this year. For more information, contact Workspeed.
