June 21, 2004—A new task chair called Hyperion, along with a guest seating series called Gadget were displayed at La-Z-Boy’s Merchandise Mart showroom during June’s NeoCon. Hyperion task chair is fully ergonomic and was designed for use in high-performance areas and meeting rooms. With a slim profile, Hyperion features over molded foam on a contoured steel frame back, has a synchro tilt mechanism and easy to use controls. It also has a “no touch” back height adjustment with height and width arm adjustments. It has a five-position back lock adjustment, along with a seat slide with a 50mm adjustment.
Gadget guest seating offers a fully upholstered seat and a back with visible contouring. It also features an ample-sized, self-skinned polyurethane arm cap that permits close proximity to tables and work surfaces.
