June 27, 2003—A small-scale, deeply textured loop design, by Mannington Commercial, has a natural look that is “precisely imprecise” making it a new non-patterned loop that works freely in large open spaces, corridors, offices, and heavy traffic areas. Called Ottoman, the 1/12 gauge textured loop design is constructed of DuPont Antron Legacy Nylon and protected by DuPont DuraTech treatment. Ottoman, available in 12-ft. broadloom, made its debut during NeoCon at The Merchandise Mart, Chicago.
The DuPont Antron Legacy Nylon is solution and yarn dyed, then placed carefully in the carpet so that the overall effect is one of universality. The 16 colorations range from muted field and farm to dramatic stone and dying embers-colors, says Mannington, that coordinate with natural, uncluttered space design.
Ottoman is backed with Mannington’s UltraBac Plus with a 10-year backing warranty for no delamination and no edge ravel. It is CRI Green Label Certified for Indoor Air Quality.
