WAXIE chosen as Oregon’s source for janitorial supplies and services

November 19, 2007—WAXIE Sanitary Supply, America’s largest family owned distributor of sanitary supplies, has announced receipt of a contract award from the State of Oregon for Janitorial Supplies and Related Services.

Acting as the Lead Agency for the Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA), the State of Oregon has chosen WAXIE Sanitary Supply as a vendor for janitorial supplies and industrial paper, crediting the companys web@work online ordering and account management tool and its extensive catalog of environmentally preferable products as the main reasons for making this selection.

Cleaning supplies that have a reduced impact on human health and the environment are the cornerstone of WAXIE’s Green Partner Support Program, a comprehensive approach to green cleaning, which includes low environmental impact cleaning products, tools, equipment, consultation and training, says the company.

WAXIE joins a select group of suppliers who have met the State of Oregon’s and WSCA’s business specifications. This contract award allows State Agencies to take advantage of pre-negotiated terms and conditions to achieve cost-effective and efficient acquisition of quality products and services.
