Rentec Direct property management software expands network to 28 locations globally

by Brianna Crandall — October 22, 2014—Rentec Direct, experts in the field of property management software and tenant screening solutions, has announced a network expansion into 28 locations worldwide to offer faster, more secure services to customers. The expansion is part of Rentec Direct’s initiative to provide groundbreaking cloud-based software solutions within the property management industry.

With servers sending and receiving information across the globe, the landlords and property managers who use Rentec Direct’s services can manage their accounts more efficiently, says the company. Once logged in to their account, information will travel to and from the closest server from the user’s location—the closer a user is to a server, the faster they will receive information.

With the ability to quickly follow up on work orders, manage bank accounts, monitor tenant and owner payments, manage recurring transactions, and generate tenant screening reports, Rentec Direct’s customers can feel confident in managing their properties, says the company.

Beyond faster access, the expansion creates additional reinforcement for a customer’s account information. With a global network of servers available, if one location were to suffer a technical problem or natural disaster, the data is automatically available from the next nearest location, says Rentec Direct.

As part of the expansion plan, Rentec Direct also updated security measures to include some of the most advanced firewalls in the world. With a security team of network engineers that actively monitor vulnerabilities, Rentec Direct is reportedly able to proactively prevent intrusions before they even happen. These security measures allow Rentec Direct to provide world-class protection in monitoring and protecting secure data.
