by Brianna Crandall — March 4, 2015—Staco Energy Products, innovator of power quality and voltage control technologies, recently announced the release of a new single-phase, online double conversion emergency lighting inverter called the UniStar SCLI924. Suggested applications include providing power backup for indoor and outdoor emergency lighting, exits, cash registers, computers and strategic electronics.

“The UniStar SCLI 924 provides the simplicity and reliability that is critical when providing an alternative source of power to any environment,” says Jim Jones, director, Western Region Sales and UPS Products, Staco Energy Products. “The UniStar SCLI924 maintains efficient AC emergency power to operate all emergency lighting fixtures at ‘full-light’ output, providing superior dependability and security to commercial/industrial environments in a small footprint.”

General highlights of the UniStar SCLI 924:

  • 350W-21kW single-phase output unit uses the latest PWM technology to provide the most advanced performance and reliability features
  • UL 924, meets NFPA 101, NFPA 70, NEC and OSHA standards
  • Emergency power provides FULL LIGHT OUTPUT from all lamps and fixtures for the entire runtime
  • Made in the USA

According to the company, the user simply connects the UniStar SCLI924 to the emergency circuit(s), and everything is backed up. During a power outage, superior surge suppression assures the highest quality of power being delivered to all loads, all the time.

The product operates fluorescent, compact fluorescent, incandescent, quartz, H.I.D., LED and other lamp types, as well as standard or electronic ballasts, dimming devices or panels, sensors and most control equipment, and standard or LED exits and other safety equipment.
