June 18, 2004—Inspired by the fusing of ceramic glaze to the surface of clayware, the new Pallas Ceramica Collection of upholstery textiles achieves clarity of color, weave, and structure in Crypton fabrics. Crypton, densely woven suede offers healthcare, corporate, and hospitality fabrics with performance previously attained only through the use of vinyl, explains Lois Weitzner, the fabric designer. The four designs in the Ceramica Collection, named Fresco, Impasto, Raku, and Terrazzo, are 54-inches wide. Crypton jacquard textiles meet or exceed ACT standards for heavy-duty contract fabrics.
