Aura announces WAP interface for after hours air conditioning

March 19, 2004—Aura Asia-Pacific, developers of the Aura6 After Hours Air Conditioning (AHAC) system, announced the capability of setting AHAC schedules via a WAP-enabled mobile phone for any building with Aura6 installed.

Aura6 is a unique, Internet-based solution for scheduling and administering after-hours air conditioning, offering tenants and property managers new benefits.

Tenants of high-rise city buildings often face a dilemma when trying to schedule and monitor after-hours air conditioning usage in their tenancies. Aura6 simplifies this process by offering tenants an easy to use web (and now WAP) interface enabling them to schedule AHAC up to a year in advance. Nominated administrators can also monitor daily activity via e-mail reports.

While some Property Managers are wasting hours activating and administering AHAC, managers using the Aura6 system are able to administer the operation of after-hours air conditioning from any location via the web. Not only does the AURA network free property managers from the AHAC scheduling process but reporting and billing is as simple as clicking a button.

Although the advantages of an Aura installation in one building are significant, when installed in a portfolio of buildings, the benefits of Aura’s centralized administration functions mean huge savings in time.
