September 26, 2003—Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), a global information technology (IT) services firm, has been awarded a six-year contract to provide mainframe computing operations services to The Boeing Company from a data center in St. Louis, Missouri. The contract has a potential value of more than $90 million. Beginning in 2004, CSC will provide services to Boeing facilities in Seal Beach, Long Beach, and Huntington Beach, California; St. Louis, Missouri; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Mesa, Arizona in support of the Boeing Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business unit, one of the world’s largest defense and space businesses. CSC already teams with Boeing on program delivery in the federal marketplace as well as in support for Boeing’s internal IT services.
