Cyco’s improved document management software supports Inventor 5 and Microsoft Office XP

February 13, 2002—Cyco Software, a provider of engineering document management solutions for the departmental and divisional CAD and facilities management market, is now shipping AutoManager Meridian 2.14, which features additional application integration such as full support for Autodesk Inventor 5 and Microsoft Office XP. AutoManager Meridian is Cyco’s flagship document management solution. It enables engineering collaboration and workflow across business units, departments, and divisions for 30-100+ users. AM-Meridian 2.14 includes performance enhancements on the server and client side. Caching and multi-user handling has been improved and the software’s desktop client handles more requests, such as sorting results and views, locally. The use of multi-processor servers has also been improved. AM-Meridian 2.14 also provides AutoCAD 2002 DWF viewing, and improved support of CADOverlay and GTX RasterCAD.
