May 30, 2007—Dean Evans & Associates has released new versions of its Event Management System (EMS) room and resource scheduling products, which are used by corporations, higher education campuses, hospitals, churches, school districts and other organizations to book rooms, resources and services for meetings and events.
EMS software is also used to perform academic course scheduling and shared workspace management (sometimes referred to as “hoteling”).
A number of technical enhancements have been made to EMS Campus (Version 1.1), EMS Enterprise (Version 4.1), EMS Professional (Version 10.1) and EMS Lite (Version 6.1).
According to the company, these versions are now certified for Windows Vista; compatible with Windows Office 2007; built on the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0; and compatible with IBM Lotus Notes email (basic email compatibility for all products, as well as Lotus Domino integration for EMS Enterprise).
