Eagle Technology adds Web solutions, online training to CMMS products

February 9 , 2004—Eagle Technology announces that Web solutions and online training have been added to their lineup of products and services.

Eagle is the developer of ProTeus Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS). ProTeus enables businesses to streamline their maintenance operations. ProTeus supports many global business requirements, including web- browser access, multiple languages and currencies. It now offers even more advanced functionality for customers with multiple sites or global operations.

A web solution allows users to access ProTeus from their office using a Local or Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) or from remote locations via the Internet. Maintenance workers can share information, real-time, across the enterprise and can deploy ProTeus’ multi-currency, multi-language features to enjoy a truly global CMMS.

ProTeus can be installed as a web solution hosted by Eagle Technology, or hosted by the customer. Either way, web solutions reduce deployment costs and support a faster rollout of new enhancements, patches and upgrades to client machines.

While industry analysts continue to stress how important training is to the successful implementation and use of a CMMS, travel costs often stop companies from getting employees trained. Eagle wants to make sure all their customers reap all the benefits of CMMS training. With internet-based training, customers can learn from the comfort of their own desk. Using internet-conferencing technology, online students will cover the same topics that classroom students receive. Classes are available in many languages, including English, Spanish, and Chinese.
