December 17, 2004—Four Rivers Software Systems, Inc., a maintenance management software (EAM/CMMS) provider for the healthcare industry, recently announced an agreement with Advanced Technologies Group, Inc., (ATG) to interface its TMS software with the Active Visual System (AVS); ATG’s CAD-based enterprise web portal.
The interface will provide access to maintenance data directly from the CAD layouts in the AVS without requiring CAD software. The initial version of the interface will have a read-only interface that would allow authorized users to access the work order history and other data charged to a space or equipment.
ATG will also be working with Four Rivers to develop a full-blown read/write interface that would allow users to generate work orders directly from the CAD files of the facility viewed from the AVS.
