by Brianna Crandall — March 19, 2014—The jury of the 10th edition of the ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam Innovation Award has selected 10 nominees from a total of 66 entries for its annual professional cleaning awards. The overall winner, the category winners, and the visitors’ choice winner of this international prize for the best innovation in the professional cleaning industry will be announced during the special award ceremony on May 6 in Amsterdam at the ISSA/INTERCLEAN international cleaning industry show.
The following 10 nominees were selected as the top three in their category:

The Amsterdam Innovation Award jury was reportedly impressed with the high standard of entries for this year’s award, and “the considerable work that has gone into preparing each entry.” The chair of the jury said the variety of products “really demonstrates how much manufacturers are developing solutions that take into account the genuine day-to-day needs of their customers.” The jury noted the continuing trend in sustainability and how the industry is taking advantage of latest Web-based technology to help cleaning operations become more efficient, productive and streamlined.
