September 1, 2003—The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has released several publications that provide new or updated information to employers and workers about workplace safety and health. Inside the Green Line (PDF file), (OSHA 3189) reports on the difficult World Trade Center site cleanup and how OSHA and its partners helped ensure the safety and health of the recovery workers, as well as lessons learned in the process. Other new publications include OSHA Strategic Management Plan (OSHA 3186), Methyline Chloride (OSHA 3144), Safeguarding Equipment and Protecting Workers from Amputations (OSHA 3170-107R), and a new card about hazards associated with working in the sun (OSHA 3166).
