January 14, 2005—Pepco Energy Services has been chosen to implement a Pennsylvania Act 77 comprehensive energy efficiency and guaranteed savings program for the Ridley School District located in Folsom, Pennsylvania.
As part of the 15-year contract, Pepco Energy Services, a subsidiary of Pepco Holdings, Inc., will install new chillers, boilers, and windows in nine schools and to administrative buildings. The project also provides occupancy controls, water conservation, lighting upgrades, and ongoing training. With a January 2005 start date, construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2005.
