September 30, 2002—GiveMePower Corp., a provider of desktop, mobile, and wireless software for the design/build industry, recently announced the acquisition and official public beta launch of PowerCAD Architect, a software system that automates 2D and 3D design for small, medium, and large-scale enterprises involved in residential building design and light commercial construction.
PowerCAD Architect uses a single model approach to automatically create and dynamically link intelligent elements such as walls, windows, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, and roofs. Results are saved in native AutoCAD file formats for direct sharing with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architectural Desktop, and other systems that support industry standard file formats.
PowerCAD Architect retails for $995 and is scheduled for commercial release in the fourth quarter of 2002. GiveMePower is offering a $500 discount to qualified beta testers, who can now register through the company’s Web site. The site also contains more details about the software and free demos of other PowerCAD products.
