September 3, 2001—Eagle Technology Inc.’s leading maintenance management software, ProTeus II 8.1, has two new features: it allows users to both carry out transactions in foreign currencies as well as attach multiple drawing files to maintenance work orders.
With “multi-currency,” a consumer can buy parts from a foreign vendor, in that vendor’s currency, and still maintain a purchasing history in US dollars. Similarly, a multinational company with several networked overseas facilities can allow each one to conduct transactions in their native currencies, while tracking overall budget information in a single, preselected currency.
With “multi-drawing,” a feature that supports most popular drawing file types, users can print multiple drawings with each work order.
Eagle Technology’s programs can be interfaced with the Johnson Controls Metasys Building Automation System. When interfaced, the Eagle software responds to alarm conditions and runtime totalizations by automatically generating an appropriate maintenance work order.
