Tate slashes delivery time for raised access flooring to one month

Tate Access Floors has reduced the delivery time for its raised access flooring from one year to one month. Tate’s lead-time has been reduced through the expansion of production and capacity in its US manufacturing facilities. The company has added two new facilities, in Westport, MD, and Emigsville, PA, to its existing five facilities or licensees in the US and overseas, enabling Tate to produce 60 million square feet of raised access floors annually.

According to Tate, raised access flooring is increasingly being used in the commercial office environment for the creation of sustainable, intelligent buildings as well as rapidly expanding Internet data center construction, and semi-conductor fabrication facilities (clean rooms).
