US Security & Emergency Preparedness purchases LDRPS from Strohl

December 12, 2005—The US Senate Office of the Sergeant at Arms, Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness, has purchased Living Disaster Recovery Planning Systems (LDRPS) from Strohl Systems to enable it to more efficiently manage and maintain its continuity of operations plans (COOP), helping ensure an orderly and efficient return to normal government operations should there be a disruption, according to Strohl.

The Office purchased the Web-server version of LDRPS (available on the GSA schedule) from among COOP software products available from Strohl Systems Group, which provides business continuity planning software and consulting services.

Strohl’s president Brian Turley comments: “We are honored to support this critical institution as it enhances its continuity of operations planning. They are setting a great example for other legislative entities. As the Hurricane Katrina tragedy illustrated, planning for continuity of government is a necessity that needs to be taken seriously at all levels—federal, state and local government—alike.”
